Andy Day and Mike James

CBeebies Presenter and the star of 'Andy's Wild Adventures' Andy, and Mike have known each other since they were 12 years old. They both grew up in Romford Essex where they found their love for performing started at the same drama group, where they wore the 'loudest' clothes known to man (ask anyone who was around then). For many years they have performed as a duo.. 'Annie and Fannie' in Cinderella, local radio, and various comedy sketches.

Over the past three years Andy has worked as a presenter for Cbeebies presenting links and dancing to Number raps. Andy is finishing filming a brand new series for Cbeebies called 'Andy's Wild Adventures' (February 2012) and will also be touring Arenas in Cbeebies Live with Katy, Mister Maker and Justin. Mike the not so famous one has been pursuing a career in radio and new media. But now they are back together again, some say this is bigger then the return of 'Take That'! But i suppose our mums would say that!

The show!!

In 2008 Andy and Mike had an idea for a comedy children's show to take to the Edinburgh Festival, soon after they secured a UK tour with Premier Stage Productions. So with the help of a fun talented team Andy and Mike have been to Edinburgh in 2009 and are now on their way around the UK with (drum roll please) Andy and Mike's... Big Box of Bananas

In 2010 Andy & Mike set up their own production company to run the show. They have proudly named it Cheeky-Chap Productions.

Now in 2012 Andy and Mike have started to write their new show 'Andy and Mike's...Tick Tock Time Machine'. The show is using the same team as the first show including the awesome director Iain Lauchlan (AKA finger mouse) and Jamie Ledwith (AKA Jamie Ledwith). The show will start at the Edinburgh Festival before a tour around the country.
